The Therapist

My name is Rachel Randle. I have been a Certified HypnoBirthing Educator since 2004.

I completed my training as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist seven years ago, and am now also a qualified hypnosis for fertility practitioner. I have worked in private practice as a therapist, and also within NHS hospices as part of the Hypno-Chemo programme, offering relief to cancer patients using a combination of hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

I have a psychology degree and am an experienced registered nurse, working at York District Hospital.

I have worked with expectant mums and their birth partners for several years, both in London and now back in my native Yorkshire. In all cases we have worked towards the most perfect birth for them, and the results have been wonderful and endlessly rewarding. Births are generally easier, more comfortable, the birthing process much shorter, and without exception birth partners report feeling much more involved in the whole pregnancy and birthing journey. HypnoBirthing babies tend to be calm, sleep well and take to feeding with no problems.

Please see my Birth Stories page for recent birth experiences from families I have worked with, and feedback about the HypnoBirthing programme that I provide.
